Ticarus Bunch
- Actor
Ticarus Bunch was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina to Mack and Delores Bunch. Ticarus is the last child from the family of four children. With a first name of Greek origin, Ticarus became interested in acting while starring in various school plays in elementary school. During Ticarus' years at Goldsboro High School, football and drama were his two desired extracurricular activities. Attempting to maintain both hobbies, schedules began to conflict making it difficult for him to be present at both scheduled practice times. Ticarus thought long and hard and came to the conclusion to quit playing varsity football to concentrate on theatre.
In front of the entire student body in high school, he stared in Driving Miss Daisy as Hoke Colburn. He also performed in various theatre plays for the community all under the direction of Daniel Rollins. Following his graduation from high school, Ticarus joined the U.S. Army where he served as an Artilleryman. After Ticarus' military career, he moved back to North Carolina and became a business owner still longing for a start in the entertainment business.
Ticarus landed his first professional role being a featured extra on Tyler Perry's, The Haves and Have Nots, as a gangster (2015). That one gig brought excitement and sparked Ticarus' love for acting all over again. Since that day he has begun to chase his dream that he once longed, desiring to become an accomplished actor.
He had played the lead role of Robert Gray on TV One's television show Fatal Attraction (2015). Ticarus also can be seen as Officer Drake, a correctional officer on the Fox hit show Empire's second season. Ticarus also guest-starred as a delivery man on the Warner Brothers television show Good Behavior.
He resides in North Carolina where he enjoys riding motorcycles with his wife and friends. He also loves supporting his community by volunteering his time with Lost Sheep Ministries whose mission is to take care and provide for the homeless. Ticarus was recently recognized as one the 2018 Trailblazers for his contributions to the community of Goldsboro.
