Dana Schiemann is an actor and comedian, originally from Baden, Ontario. Graduating from Guelph University, studying Theatre and Music in 2013, she made the pivotal decision to relocate to Toronto in pursuit of acting and comedy.
Dana began at The Second City Toronto in 2013. Here, she diligently honed her skills, participating in the Second City Conservatory and Longform Conservatory Programs. Her dedication and talent earned her a spot in Toronto's inaugural House Co Ensemble, a group directed by Leslie Seiler.
In 2018, Dana performed as a comedian aboard the MSC Seaside, where she delighted audiences with her improvisational skills in the improvised comedy show "BeerProv at Sea" until 2019.
In the realm of competitive air guitar, Dana achieved significant recognition. She earned herself first place in Canada's National Air Guitar Championship in 2018 and went on to represent Canada at the World Air Guitar Championship in Oulu, Finland that same year, securing herself third place behind Japan and the US. Dana can be seen in Season 5 of the popular series "Letterkenny" on Comedy Network and Crave TV, where she portrays Darryl's doppelgänger, Cheryl.
