Carrie Dougherty, 26, was born in Montgomery, Alabama to a military family. She spent her early childhood growing up in eclectic towns all across the United States, till settling in St. Louis, where her acting career began. Her draw towards passionate and intentional storytelling is what led her to star in many short films and host a large variety of local news/interest shows and corporate media in the city.
By 2014, she was part of the Mid-America Emmy-Nominated Commercial "Gift for Hope," and soon after, she contributed to the regionally-known documentary, "The Heroine Project." From there, she expanded her already broad skill set by modeling with local photographers. As an actress of great versatility, Carrie has appeared in videos for popular retailers including Vat19, Knifehog, and Title Boxing. She later moved to California, where she has done background acting for well-known shows including The Mindy Project and various web videos for Dreamworks Television and Comedy.com.
In the summer of 2016, she was cast as a trophy model for the nationally televised ESPN Sports Humanitarian of the Year Awards. She has performed in many pilots for major companies including College Humor and Fox. She has continued her acting career alongside a successful, diverse career working behind-the-scenes in Television Production. Her multi-tasking and multi-capable personality has led her to a very cohesive involvement within the entertainment industry.
Carrie currently resides in Los Angeles, California, and travels the country for various jobs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to visit her family and friends.
