New Sequels, Prequels, and Spin-Offs

Maddison Bullock is a multi-award-winning actress, producer, and writer. Her producing career is marked by her dedication to telling impactful, female-driven stories and her passion for celebrating the vitality of the human spirit against adversity. Her most notable work includes "Ice: The Movie," which she wrote, produced, and starred in. This film, starring Gregory Itzin ("24"), Michael Monks ("Air Force One"), and Mike Manning ("Days of Our Lives"), was inspired by her experiences as a competitive figure skater and emphasizes sportsmanship and family values. "Ice: The Movie" received notable recognition from NBC Olympics for its authentic portrayal of the figure skating world before becoming a successful streamer. Maddison has since had four additional screenplays produced, sold several others, and currently has several scripts under option. She initially studied history and genetics for her undergraduate degree at UCLA but later returned to complete both the Professional Producer and Professional Screenwriting programs at the university's highly coveted School of Theater, Film and Television (TFT).

Following the success of "Ice: The Movie," Maddison produced "The Extraordinary Ordinary," directed by Natalie Rodriguez and starring John Posey ("Teen Wolf"), Alexander Montalbán ("My Dinner with Hervé"), and Ana Marte ("Need for Speed"). This poignant exploration of mental health focuses on three young adults with a history of mental health issues, illustrating how they cope with triggers and past traumas through their friendships and creative outlets. The film has been praised for its honest and relatable depiction of mental health struggles, winning awards for Best Performance at the Los Angeles Diversity Film Festival and Best Narrative Feature at the Culver City Film Festival, ultimately garnering global distribution.

Another significant project is "Wives of the Skies," directed by Honey Lauren and starring Rachel Alig ("The Cleaning Lady"). This romantic dramedy set in 1965 challenged gender stereotypes by commenting on the male gaze and objectification of women. This film, known for its sensual but heartfelt look into the lives of two female flight attendants, had a successful run on the festival circuit and received recognition from various prestigious publications such as Film Rant. It was picked up by Hewes Pictures. Maddison has been featured on several podcasts and publications, including The Hollywood Outsider, Medium, and more. She has also been a guest speaker at various notable events and platforms. She has shared her expertise and experiences at venues such as the Bay Area Female Filmmakers, Women of Denver, and has been a repeat special guest at WhedonCon.

Additionally, during the pandemic, Maddison produced her own podcast, "Distance Makes The Heart Grow Fonder," where she discusses topics related to relationships, personal growth, and the entertainment industry. The podcast features interviews with a diverse array of guests, including Academy Award winners, Emmy winners, Olympic athletes, and Stanley Cup champions, providing listeners with insights and inspiration from some of the most accomplished individuals in their fields.

In 2023 Maddison founded a writer's group as a creative safe haven for her fellow UCLA screenwriting graduates to workshop and continue to build each other up-Vini Vidi Scripsi, a homage to her love for history and her belief that filmmaking can feel like a battle. She believes that the only way to conquer any film project is to conduct yourself at every phase of development as if it is a team sport. This belief is deeply influenced by her affinity for legendary basketball coach John Wooden and his Pyramid of Success, as well as his Christian faith. When Maddison was training at the Olympic Training Center in figure skating as a girl, her coach would often show her Wooden's Pyramid of Success. This impactful experience continued to resonate with her, especially as she later attended UCLA, Wooden's alma mater. Wooden's principles of teamwork, integrity, and perseverance have profoundly shaped Maddison's approach to filmmaking, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and the pursuit of excellence in every project.

Beginning in April of 2024 she produced back to back thrillers with Jacob Snovel, Kyle Harris, and Nicholas Clement, "Anywhere," directed by Adam Seidel and starring Sean Gunn ("Guardians of the Galaxy"), and "The Huntsman" starring Elizabeth Mitchell (Purge: Election Year) and Garret Dillahunt (Where the Crawdads Sing) both are currently in post-production.
