Stefania Berndsen

Stefania Berndsen was born and raised in a small town in southern Iceland. She graduated as an actor with a B.F.A. in Acting and Performance from the Department of Performing Arts, Iceland Academy of the Arts, in 2013. Upon graduation, she was immediately offered a contract with The National Theatre of Iceland. Since then she has acted in various films, including City State, White White Day, Natatorium, Returning to Lulu, and the TV drama Case (Netflix), to name a few. Stefana was appointed ensemble member of the prestigious Burgtheater in Vienna in 2019. For her roles in theater she has been nominated for three Gríma Theatre Awards in Iceland. Stefania is based in Berlin.
