Tara O. Horvath
- Actress
- Additional Crew
- Camera and Electrical Department
Born in January of 1989 in the small town of Wakeman, Ohio, Tara Olivia Horvath has always had the singular dream of becoming an actress. Her inspiration came from her parents' obsession with Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and the singular 1970s art form: Disco dancing. There wasn't a day in the Horvath household that Tara didn't hear an Elvis record spinning on her parents' hi-fi or watching her dad dance to Michael Jackson or Prince.
Spending summers in Tennessee at her family reunion escalated her love for art even more, as they would be very lively and full of both music & dancing. Her mom bought an ungainly '90s video camera for Christmas 1993 and from then on, Tara was hooked.
Earlier in life, Tara overcame several adversities: Cancer, the loss of both of her grandparents, and her father's death in 2012 gave her strength and endurance. Art has been her outlet, her passion, and her savior.
Her passion for film has grown over the last several years; she has done many independent films and short film productions all over the state of Ohio.
Recently, she delved into modeling and has been internationally published through David Ford Eyewear and Beyond Curves Magazine. Doubling as a promotional model at large events supporting such diverse topics as childhood cancer, sled hockey, and "Feed America," Tara has become recognized as a multi-talented individual. She most recently had the opportunity to be featured in an episode of the national television show Outsiders, and major motion picture productions such as Cleveland Abduction, My Friend Dahmer, and Red Acquisition, which showcased her burgeoning range as an actress.
Tara's hobbies include exploring nature, spending time with her family, traveling, painting, and lounging around her house relaxing while watching YouTube videos!
She is always looking for new projects.
A true Ohio original; this girl is never giving up!
