Olivia McIntyre

From early age Olivia has contributed to the Norwegian television scene with her heartfelt and believable performances as an extra in many hit TV-shows such as "Side om side" and also "Hjerte til hjerte", as well as a small appearance in "Nytt på Nytt". Before her sudden fame she was a part of an interview series in the famous talk show "Skavlan", where young and bright children were asked complex questions like "what is time?" and "what is love?". She touched the heart of an entire nation. But, her career kick-started when she began playing small, but vital roles in kids shows, some of these were the one and only "Barnas supershow", where she played in several sketches with a variety of different roles such as princess, wondering child and got special recognition for her role as the main character in the sketch and music video called "Maur i rompa". Later in her life she has moved on to more serious roles, like the friend of the daughter of one of the couples in "Side om side". In many ways, one could say that McIntyre has revolutionized the way the Norwegian public view extras. She has made otherwise dull TV-shows more credible with her talent of complete unawareness of camera and casual way of pretend-talking in the background of important dialogues. Her main goal in her career was to show that the background can be as vitally important as the foreground, which she accomplished.
