Production on the sixth and final season of the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai, a continuation of the Karate Kid film franchise, was delayed several months due to the writers and actors strikes last year – but the extended wait was worth it, because the show is wrapping up with a 15 episode season (previous seasons consisted of 10 episodes) that has been split up to make it a three part event. The first batch of episodes dropped back in July, and the second batch of episodes are set to begin streaming on November 15th. With that date right around the corner, a trailer for Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2 has arrived online and can be seen in the embed above!

The number of actors the Netflix TV series Cobra Kai has brought back to reprise their characters from the Karate Kid films has been very impressive. Not only do you have Ralph Macchio and William Zabka back as Daniel Larusso and Johnny Lawrence, but there’s also Martin Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith as villains John Kreese and Terry Silver, Yuji Okumoto and Sean Kanan as villains-turned-allies Chozen Toguchi and Mike Barnes; Ron Thomas, Rob Garrison, and Tony O’Dell as Johnny’s former Cobra Kai buddies; and appearances by Elisabeth Shue as Ali Mills, Tamlyn Tomita as Kumiko, and Robyn Lively as Jessica Andrews. They even brought Traci Toguchi back as Yuna, the “Girl Bell Ringer” she played in The Karate Kid Part II. But one actor who might not be returning from the films is Hilary Swank, who played Julie Pierce in the 1994 film The Next Karate Kid.

Rumor has it that Netflix was originally planning to release the sixth and final season of their hit series Cobra Kai, a continuation of the Karate Kid film franchise, this month. The cast and crew were heading into production back in May (Netflix even released some table read footage) – but then the writers strike hit, causing filming to shut down. Then came the actors strike, which made sure it stayed shut down a while longer. But both of those strikes are now over, and cast member Courtney Henggeler has revealed that Cobra Kai season 6 is finally going to start filming / resume production next month!
The folks at Screen Rant took the opportunity to ask Henggeler about Cobra Kai when they crossed paths with her at a red carpet event. When they asked for info on what fans can expect from the new season, Henggeler answered, “I wish I knew. I...

In Cormac McCarthy’s 2022 novel The Passenger, a character muses that, when a nuclear bomb set the sky above Hiroshima on fire, those who survived the blast didn’t immediately connect what had happened to the war, but rather assumed that the world had ended. The destruction we see in Um Tae-hwa’s Concrete Utopia feels similarly apocalyptic: When an earthquake rips through the heart of Seoul, the streets split open and buildings crumble, largely reducing the entire city to rubble in a matter of seconds. From this moment on, we never find out what’s happening outside of the city, with the film effectively keying us to the perspectives of a community of survivors for whom the world is essentially their immediate vicinity.
In the midst of all this destruction, Imperial Palace Apartments is the only building in Seoul left standing. To help them survive their grim new reality,...

In Return to Seoul, director Davy Chou tells a moving story of fractured identity amidst a constantly changing world. It’s through the eyes of Freddie (Park Ji-Min), a 25-year-old French adoptee who, on a whim, decides to find her biological parents in South Korea. Despite not being fluent in the language and having nothing other than a photograph to aid in her search, Freddie’s journey takes an unexpected route leading her to change swiftly, reminding us life demands constant reinvention as means of survival.

Crash Course in Romance is a South Korean series directed by Yoo Je-won. A funny series that comes to us from South Korea, starring Jeon Do-Yeon and Jung Kyung-ho.
Crash Course in Romance is a series that manages to combine romantic comedy with a more classic and physical comedy based in ingenious dialogue. Briefly, more comedy and crazy situations than in a normal romantic comedy.
Crash Course in Romance (2023)
As happens in Love To Hate You, Crash Course in Romance is a series that, if you like this kind of humor that borders the absurd, will entertain you.

Ka Sung-moon’s accomplished feature debut is a harsh reality-check that all decisions we make are thwart with potential problems when put to wider society. A tale of one woman’s struggle against all society throws her way, this is a journey that is at times humorous, tragic, angry and sad, though inhabits a world created by Kafka himself.

Alicia Hannah-Kim’s latest role as the first female sensei in Netflix’s Cobra Kai may give observers the false impression that she’s an overnight success.
But before her likeness was wrapped around a building in the famed Los Angeles shopping mall The Grove, she was waiting tables, auditioning, and dreaming of one day being the representation she lacked growing up in her native Australia.
Hannah-Kim, who is of Korean descent, recalls her difficult journey climbing that Hollywood ladder which includes having to turn down stereotypical roles, rejection, and thoughts of giving up before she got the call for Cobra Kai.
“Being an ‘overnight success’ is such a charming concept and so wholly untrue in my case. I have endless respect and solidarity with actors who are out there self-taping and auditioning into what feels like oblivion because I have been in those trenches for years,” Hannah-Kim tells Deadline.

Moon So-ri has always been an actress whose projects are worth keeping an eye out for. While she rarely does solo leading lady parts these days, even her work within an ensemble cast rarely disappoints. It is, thus, with anticipation that her latest feature “Three Sisters” by director Lee Seung-won, on which she also acts as producer, was looked forward to.
Three Sisters screened at Osaka Asian Film Festival
As the title suggests, our central characters here are three sisters, each with their different lives yet each equally pitiable in those lives. The eldest, Hee-sook, is an always apologetic florist who can’t seem to tell anyone, not even her rebellious daughter Bo-mi, that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Middle sister Mi-yeon is a devout Catholic choirmaster who can’t get her children to follow the faith as well as she’d want them to, while also just finding...
