Henry R Nader is an independent filmmaker, visual artist and musician.
A lifelong nonconformist, Nader abandoned formal education at the age of 15 in order to carve out his path as an individual and an artist.
With an early adopted appreciation for art, music, films and theater, Nader devoted much of the 90's and early 2000's towards writing and producing original albums for his band/persona, 'Hank El Diablo', engineering, working on soundtracks, mixing audio for film projects and dabbling with video projects along the way.
Born in Jacksonville Beach, Florida on groundhog day in 1975, his father is a professional musician (of Lebanese descent) from Texas and his mother a teachers assistant (of Cuban, Spanish and German descent) from St Augustine, Fl.
In the early 2010's. Nader began to shift gears from concentrating exclusively on music to filmmaking. This led to his 2016 independent feature 'Shoot The Messenger'. His 2nd feature, 2021's 'The Exchange' was filmed on Super 16mm. The end of 2021 saw the release of Nader's first short film, 'Disunity: A Love Story', also shot on Super 16mm film.
As of late 2023 Nader has been working on a feature documentary about his life and work, 'NADERWORLD: Kaleidoscopic Harmonics Resonating Beyond the Subconscious', due out in 2024.
