Justin Pickering Smith

- Camera and Electrical Department
Justin was born in Modesto, California. He spent his primary years on independent study between Modesto and Oakland, learning to play piano and skateboard depending on the locations he was staying. Justin's break through in acting came in 1986 when he was cast as a Care Bear for a local TV program. Realizing acting was Justin's big dream, his parents started to help him build a radio shack home studio where he enjoyed editing graffiti, skateboard, and music videos for the locals and Jason Krone's "Absolute Madness" public access show. He honed his music skills due to copyright laws and the necessity of original scores for TV programming- becoming a karaoke DJ by accident. This would eventually manifest into Justin performing comedy parodies in bars and nightclubs through out Sacramento, Santa Cruz, Nashville, Miami, South By Southwest in Austin, and at the Comedy Store and Viper Room in Hollywood- working with Jason Resler, Sam Tripoli, Chris Neff, and Larry "Bubbles" Brown over a decade. You can see in him in the Films - Half Dead Fred and Heat Of The Beat; as well as on the online mini-series Real Acting. Justin has music on all platforms under his "stage name" Buck Stallion and collaborates with Real One, Zigzag Robinson, Slop Opera, Vantana Row, Ryini Beats, Jon "Slie One" Bookers, and Jehad Choate. His label is named "Buck Stallion's Emporium". He has also been the host of the Wake N' Bake Podcast company since 2007 and is now available on most platforms worldwide.
