Carmen Araiza was born in Mexico, the daughter of a Mexican singer and a businessman father. Her career in the entertaining industry began in Mexico City, in the early 1990s working in front and behind the scenes in various Mexican productions. Her adventurous spirit and love for diverse cultures made Carmen to leave Mexico in her earlier 20s and for the next 10 years she lived in Toronto, Florence and Paris.
In 2011 Carmen settled in Toronto to pursue her acting career and in no time she also started working as a Spanish Dialect Coach, Script Translation, and Assistant Director with "A List" Actors, Directors, and Producers. Her fun energy and passion about food and cooking have been featured in The Chef's Bar, Master Chef Canada-Mexico, and DNA Dinners TV Series.
She is known to be dynamic and adaptable in a wide variety of work environments and boldly connecting with people. Her main goal is to work as a creative writer and producer.
