Amrit Raj Gupta

Amrit is one the youngest filmmakers to get a theatrical release for his award winning short film Ayan, in PVR Director's Rare Category in 2014. He made this short under the mentorship of one of India's finest directors - Vikramaditya Motwane. Amrit started his journey in 2013 at TVF, India's leading digital content creators, and worked on their marquee shows including Permanent Roommates and Pitchers. Between 2016 and 2018, he worked as the Creative Head for TVF's sister company The ScreenPatti, a YouTube channel most popularly known as TSP. Amrit has also worked on a mini-series with Tripoto called Trails 2 Passion as well as TVF's acclaimed series Gullak, which is on SonyLiv. Amrit has directed two seasons for Dice Media's YouTube series - Operation MBBS, which chronicles the lives of three first-year medical students. The show received a heartwarming response from the channel's viewers on YouTube leading to a second season, which dealt with the Coronavirus pandemic, premiered in March 2021. Currently, Amrit is developing his original feature film with Durgesh Singh and is directing Netflix's upcoming series with showrunner Puneet Krishna.
