Kate Bone (formerly known as Kaitlin Huwe) is an American actress, singer, and writer. A star on the rise, Kate is fast making a name for herself in Hollywood with several high profile roles including this past summer's hit Netflix film "Purple Hearts," opposite Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine. The film remained Netflix's #1 streaming film for several weeks, with over 220.6 Million views in the first 28 days, and ranked #7 on Netflix's List of Most Watched Films. A versatile performer, Kate sings, plays guitar, and has been writing her own songs since age twelve. She collaborates on several music projects across a wide range of styles including; Alternative Pop, Folk, Americana, Roots, Jazz, Swing, and Rock. Kate is known for lending her voice to soundtracks, theme songs, and trailers for film and television projects led by prominent artists including: Sir. Anthony Hopkins, St. Vincent, Carrie Brownstein, and Josh Ruben. A proud member of The Road Theatre in Los Angeles, Kate has worked closely with several playwrights to develop new work. She originated the role of "Samantha" in the World Premiere "Through the Eye of A Needle" by Jami Brandli. Kate is a graduate of UCLA's School of Theatre Film and Television with a BA in Acting. She trained at the famed Groundlings School in LA and graduated from the Advanced Improv Track, and completed the two-year Meisner Training at The Baron Brown Studio in Santa Monica. She was born in Mountain View, California and now splits her time between Atlanta and Los Angeles.
