Mel was bitten by the acting bug at an early age, appearing in school productions including The Princess and the Pea, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Guys & Dolls. Since then, anytime she could get on a stage (legally) she would try to.
After training for stage and screen at NIDA, and script writing at AFTRS, Mel has appeared in stage shows at the Short & Sweet Festival (2018) and Deadly Women (2021), as well as various advertisements and corporate training videos (2012-2021). Some may have even heard her voice when calling companies in Sydney on their telephony system.
Mel has also trained in different dancing styles such as ballroom, ballet and jazz throughout her career.
Mel continues to attend regular actor meets at places such as Sydney Actors Association, and in her spare time works as a Data Engineer.
