Will Nemi was born William Anthony Nemi in Lockport, New York to Lisa (Dunn) and Anthony Nemi, a former professionally scouted baseball player, college coach, and County Legislator. He was raised in an Italian Catholic, sports-centric family, but as a child, discovered his passion for acting in productions at his church. He was a multi-sport athlete playing baseball into college, until his desire for performing was reignited.
He began acting in Theatre productions in college, where he continued his education in Theatre Arts after obtaining a degree in Sport's Management. He led such stage shows as "Barefoot in the Park," and Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians" before transitioning into film acting.
Besides screenwriting and songwriting, he appeared, as an actor, in films such as "The First Purge" and the TV series "Class of 09." Most recently, leading independent films, such as the fictional 80's band biopic "Turn up the Night," and the Buffalo based film about Buffalo Bill's fans, "UnBillievable." When asked about where his desire for performing originated from he was quoted, saying, "In a world where we're pressured to grow up, as an actor, I still get to play pretend."
