Julian J. Walker (he/him/his) is a renowned silver screen actor celebrated for his roles in "Blackbird," "Saints & Sinners," and "Being Mary Jane". Los Angeles Times named Julian their Emmys 2015: Eight young Black actors to watch list. Hailing from Jackson, MS, Julian has made waves in both the entertainment and literary worlds with his work, "A Year Without You," recognized on NBC News' Best Black Queer Books list in 2020. Eager to explore the music sector, he recently released his EP "Fall 2020." A steadfast advocate for LGBTQ+ people of color for over nine years, Julian serves as the Deputy Director for Mobilizing Our Brothers Initiative (MOBI) and Associate Director, Communities of Color and Media at GLAAD. Through his roles, he shapes narratives, fosters dialogue, and partners with local initiatives, particularly in the US South, to amplify marginalized voices and promote inclusivity within media and entertainment, leaving a profound impact on communities worldwide.
