Letia Solomon is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Former Chemical Engineer in Aerospace, Letia pursued her true calling of storytelling by receiving a MFA in TV and Film Production from the University of Southern California. Her thesis film, The Cypher, premiered at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival, received USC's 2020 First Look Faculty Award for Outstanding Director and streamed on MAX from being a finalist in the 2020 ABFF HBO Competition. She directed the coming of age series, 3 Blind Mice, set at a HBCU in Baltimore and won the 2022 Lionsgate/Starz Speculative Film award for directing the mockumentary comedy, Clones. Her medieval romcom, The Queen, The Knight, and The Witch received funding from the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival x CHANEL Through Her Lens Female Filmmaking Program in New York. In 2023, she was selected for Netflix's Episodic Directors on the Rise Masterclass Program taught by Paris Barclay.
