Ingrid Abrams was born as Ingrid Abrams, and is an American Independent film Cinematographer and Director/Screenwriter from Los Angeles, California. She Co-Founded 24 Dorsey Street Studios, a small grass roots production company along with Czech native and visual artist, Lenka Talska. She studied Cinematography at UCLA and has graduated from the The American Society of Cinematographers Masterclass, in conjunction with Global Cinematography Institute in Los Angeles by founders Vilmos Zsigmond ASC, (Close Encounters of the Third Kind/The Deer Hunter/Deliverance), and Yuri Neyman, ASC, (Liquid Sky/DOA), there Ingrid was mentored by many professional cinematographers such as: James Laxton, ASC, (Moonlight) American Cinematographer Magazine's Jay Holbert, Scott Cunningham (Kendrick Lamar's "Humble" video/ Adriana Grande/Justin Timberlake/Katy Perry) and many more. She loves film, theater, animals, and philanthropy. She spends her time between Los Angeles, California and Brno, Czech Republic.
