Kevin is currently filming a new feature movie, as of September 2024. where he steps into the role of a hero, playing the captain in a project based on the events of the Lisbon Maru. This three-month shoot is set to conclude in December, marking a departure from his usual villainous roles.
Kevin was chosen by none other than Chinese superstar Wu Jing to play Colonel Allan MacLean in the box office hit The Battle at Lake Changjin. His professionalism and decade of experience brought depth to this key character in the film, which became a major success.
Kevin's passion for acting began at an early age, but it wasn't until he was 23 that he took the leap into the industry while still working a full-time job. After successfully auditioning for the prestigious London School of Dramatic Art (LSDA), he spent two years honing his craft before continuing his studies at Birkbeck University, where he explored new acting techniques.
His career took a pivotal turn when he moved to China. A fateful encounter with Wu Jing led to an audition for a role in Wolf Warrior, and Kevin embraced the opportunity, launching his career in the action film industry.
Since then, Kevin has worked on a wide range of local and international productions, from independent films to big-budget blockbusters across China, Thailand, and Malaysia. His unique blend of physical presence and versatility has made him one of the most sought-after foreign actors in China.
