Michael Peter Harrison

Michael Peter Harrison was born in Twickenham, Middlesex on April 13th 1990. He started acting at the age of four years old inspired by his older sister and together and separately they competed in many drama festivals and shows in which Michael won numerous medals and awards for his performances.
At the age of 11 he joined a Youth Musical Theatre company and performed in a variety of roles including The Lion in Wizard of Oz, and Dr. Parker in Bat Boy in theatres across London and the South East. The company participated in a US exchange programme with the Baltimore School of Drama and Michael was chosen to perform in Baltimore USA playing the roles of Billy in Willy Russell's Stags and Hens and Tony in Russell's Beautiful Thing.
Michael was offered a place at the renowned BRIT school of Performing Arts at the age of 14 and during his years at BRIT took a variety of roles including Ben Barachyal in Ritual In Blood and Biondello in Taming of the Shrew. At 18 he was selected for the final Company year in which he took part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival performing a piece written and researched by Company members entitled As You Were which received a four star review from The Scotsman. Michael also attended a summer workshop season with the RSC in Stratford Upon Avon where he performed the role of Malvolio in Twelfth Night.
When Michael was 19 he was invited to audition in London for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and was successful in gaining a place at the Academy in Los Angeles California. He moved out to the USA at the age of 20 to commence his studies and graduated from the Academy three years later. During his time at the Academy he performed in many productions including, Eugene in Biloxi Blues, Howie in Rabit Hole and Gary Essendine in Present Laughter to name but a few.
Since graduating Michael has performed for Shakespeare in LA in Tony Tanner's production of 'Something in Silver', he has performed in three consecutive Hollywood Fringe Festivals receiving excellent reviews and has appeared on television in a web production FILMONTV.com Michael has also been in a short film, entitled Two Men on Planet Ten which was submitted for several film festivals.
Michael is a passionate, diverse, creative actor displaying great versatility as much at home with comedic roles as he is with strong serious intense productions.
