Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Alyson McKenzie Wells always knew she wanted to be an actress and dancer and work in the entertainment industry. She began taking dance, voice and acting lessons at a very young age and soon became involved with local dance and theatre companies where she traveled and performed internationally. She was accepted into the Alabama School of Fine Arts for high school where she majored in theatre arts, also dancing and performing in several companies outside of school. Upon graduation, Alyson was accepted to Elon University in North Carolina where she graduated with a BFA in acting and dance.
