Since 1999, Nikolas Thompson has composed and produced music for a number of pop and rock bands. Most notable of Thompson's personal projects is Kite Flying Robot, which has toured internationally and won several awards since 2010. In 2013, Thompson composed music for a number of commercials while based in Seoul, South Korea, including Marriott Hotels, The International Vaccine Institute, Pfizer, and Dorco Razors. This led to several film scoring projects with long-time collaborator director Nick Neon, including "Criminal Supervixen", "Ultra Bleu", and "Zero One". In 2019, he graduated with honors from Oklahoma City University with a master's in Music Composition, with an emphasis on composing for orchestra. As of mid-2020, Nikolas Thompson has composed for 20+ films and commercials, and continues to produce and record music for artists and bands.
