Diana Sedano

Actress, producer and director graduated from Casa del Teatro with an 'acting' degree. She has been part of the cast at the National Theatre Company from 2010 to 2012, same years in which she was an intern in FONCA. As a director these are some of her theatre projects : "Mujer" by Queralt Riera directing together with Mariana García Franco, "Caída" by Gabriela Ponce, the audio series "Creepy Hunters: El misterio del cenote" created by Fábula (Chile), "Tornaviaje" directing together with Cecilia Ramírez Romo and Ricardo Rodríguez and VIOLENCIA! By Valeria Loera for the National Theatre Company, for which she won the recongnition to the Best Direction by the ACPT Awards 2023 and Theatre Billboard 2024.

In cinema she has participated in "Edén" by Elise Durant , "Amores Modernos" by Matías Meyer, "Yo necesito Amor" by José Luis Valle, "La hija de todas las rabias" by Laura Baumeister, and we will soon be able to see her as the main character of "Juana" the debut of Daniel Giménez Cacho.

Main awards and nominaciones: Mezcal to Best Actress at the International Film Festival in Guadalajara 2019 for her performance in "Yo no necesito amor" by Pepe Vall. 2021 "Tornaviaje" she won three METRO prizes: Best dramaturgy, best direction and best unipersonal show and a nomination for Best Actress . 2023 - ACPT in Stage Direction at ¡VIOLENCIA!
