James Everett was born in Swansea, Wales and lives in Bangor, Northern Ireland. He had a successful career as a Writer/Producer in the EDM scene before pursuing a career as a film composer. He is known for his film work on "Bad Day For The Cut" (premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival), "The Dig" (premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.), "Black Medicine" and the documentary "The Dakota Entrapment Tapes".
In 2024 he will be scoring the Channel 5/Paramount plus series "Ellis", the feature "The Morrigan" and the documentary "The Negotiator".
