Neffi Kristensen was born and raised in Southern Jutland, Denmark in a
house of five people. After finishing high school at age 19, he moved
to the fourth largest city in Denmark, Aalborg in the north where he
developed his interest and passion for photography. After three years
Neffi Kristensen applied for the European Film College in Ebeltoft,
Denmark, but at first he got rejected and was put on a hold. After a
few weeks he finally got accepted at the eight-and-a-half months
program in which students from all over the world attempt. During the
eight-and-a-half months Neffi Kristensen worked hard at developing his
skill within cinematography, often working on more than one short film
at a time. By the end of the school year in the summer of 2013 Neffi
Kristensen moved to Copenhagen, Denmark with three other from EFC in
which he was lucky to get the chance as a runner at the Danish feature
Tarok (2013). During the summer of 2013 he worked on a lot of short
films, including the 2014 Oscar winning Helium (2014), in the light
department or the camera department.
