Arend Remmers is a Berlin-based screenwriter known for the acclaimed indie black comedy "Snowflake" (2017), which won numerous awards on the international festival circuit. His feature films include "Our Time is Now" (Warner Bros., 2016), starring German music star CRO and Til Schweiger, and "Dream Factory" (Studio Babelsberg, Tobis, 2019), starring Emilia Schüle. Remmers has written for TV shows like "Dogs of Berlin" (Netflix, 2019), "Sløborn" (ZDF, 2020/21), and the meta comedy "Ze Network" (RTL+, 2022), starring David Hasselhoff. Recently, he created the hit mystery thriller "Oderbruch" (ARD, CBS Studios, 2024). His first international feature "Boy Kills World", produced by Sam Raimi and starring Bill Skarsgård, was released in April 2024. Remmers writes in both German and English.
