Elena Schick
- Actress
Elena was born in Darby, Pennsylvania and raised in Southwest Philadelphia where she lived with her Mom, Dad, older brother, and Grandmom and Grandpop who immigrated from Italy in a 3 bedroom, 1 bath row home. At an early age, Elena honed her crying on demand skills to get her older brother in trouble and to get into the bathroom before everyone else. When Elena was not annoying her older brother, she had her nose in a book reading or watching all movie genres (comedies, classic, dramas, and horror) with her Dad.
It was Elena's love of getting lost in a good story, either onscreen or in the pages of a good book, that led her to studying English and acting at the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Elena's strong work ethic, motivation, and ability to multi-task enabled her to handle the pursuit of her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Pennsylvania with a full-time job in the legal field, married life, and a newborn daughter. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Elena continued her training at The Walnut Street Theater and with various coaches in Philadelphia and New York, including Patrick McDade (Philadelphia); Clyde Baldo (NY); and Matt Newton (NY).
When Elena is not acting onscreen, she can be found singing off-key while cooking for her family and making a mean Sunday gravy with meatballs and cheering on her beloved Philadelphia Eagles, who beat Tom Brady in Super Bowl LII; walking her family's rescue dog, Sassy; or watching The Office. Elena's current goal is to work with Steve Carell and have him over for Sunday gravy and meatballs and not necessarily in that order. If Mr. Carell's team is reading this - call me!
