Brigid Kelley was born in Davenport, Iowa. She is mainly of Irish, German, and Luxembourgish decent. Brigid has always been passionate about film. That passion led her to starring in plays throughout high school, and majoring in Drama at Clarke College in Dubuque, IA where she landed the lead role of Catherine in Proof her freshman year. After performing in summer stock theatres, and touring children's theatres, and graduating college, she moved up to Minneapolis, and performed in over 20 plays in the region.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Brigid has performed in several sketch groups at iO West, UCB, The Ruby, YouTube, and more. Her sketch "A Slice of Love," which she performed with Uh-Oh Comedy, won the Best of the Fest Award at the Westside Comedy Theater 48 Hour Film Festival. She continued working with Uh Oh Comedy partners, Chris Parks and Alec Scholzen, and wrote, produced, and voiced the character 'Brigid' in the pilot "Robits," an animation workplace comedy that was selected in the New York Television Festival Independent Pilot Competition. Brigid has also performed with The Blank Theatre in several of their Living Room Series' new plays.
Brigid is trained in improv with UCB. She studies drama with Warner Loughlin Studios.
