Ondrej Psenicka

Ondrej Psenicka was born in Prague, Czech Republic as a second child to
parents Josef and Hana, both accomplished economists. Despite the
family roots, their children followed very different fields. Martin,
the elder, path of literature becoming a writer and a poet. Ondrej path
of performance becoming a magician in very early age of 9 years old. To
develop his stage personality he started attending various acting
workshops until he enrolled in an acting school in Prague when he left
his professional career as a magician behind keeping the experience to
guide him to the world of acting.
He got a professional experience still while studying when casted as the series lead in TV series Poste Restante on National Television directed by Karel Smyczek who also casted him in his following series Spackovy v siti casu two years later. He also established a great professional relationship with director Jan Chramosta acting first in his student films Little Prague Mermaid and Documentary about Hypnosis and then playing the lead in his film for the biggest national television CT1 The Poet.
Working in school with an established director from Moscow Art Theater
Seeing the difference between average Czech and American actor, he decided to interrupt his career and resume his acting studies at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles where he aspires to complete his acting personality by further developing both physical and psychological ways of expression.
Even though acting is his main focus, magic remains a significant part of his life. Ondrej is a current magician member of The Magic Castle in Hollywood and is constantly working on magic routines to maintain his unusual skills.
