Alaine Huntington has worked with smaller independent movies as well as larger budget films, notably the animal rights documentary Dominion in addition to Kickboxer: Vengeance, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. Alaine was born in North Miami Beach Florida, USA and graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in multimedia, religious studies, and environmental science. She had no formal theatre training until she worked with Harvard instructors from the Moscow Arts Theatre School [MXAT] during an intensive. She then began working behind the scenes in several film departments, honing her skills in film and event production, as well as acting.
Alaine began her professional journey in media, initially in technical operations for DragonCon, next in radio broadcasting and the recording studio. She recorded independent musicians and storytellers as well as collaborated with HBCU Stillman College to record historical interviews, while she volunteered as a disc jockey and radio news anchor. Alaine's initial film projects were with differently abled, unhoused military veterans, and spotlighting the ecological consequences of the BP oil disaster on coastal Louisiana, shedding light on issues, and raising awareness for needed advocacy.
