Currently, working as a freelance prop hand / set dresser for film and TV productions including Marvel's 'Secret Invasion' (2022) and upcoming Netflix sci-fi series 'Bodies'.
Gavin has also appeared on stage since 2002 in various amateur dramatic productions including 'Hotel Paradiso', 'After Dark, Before Dawn', 'A Sequence of Events', 'Habeus Corpus', 'Cinderella', 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and 'Maskerade'. In 2014 he directed the comedy 'Dirty Dusting' with Chesham Theatre Company.
Since 2002 Gavin has taken part in Medieval Reenactment, performing in Austria and France as well as castles and stately homes across the UK. He is proficient in show fighting techniques and teaches safe and effective use of a variety of medieval weapons as the Combat Master of 'The Medieval Combat Society'.
Gavin has had a few small screen appearances, including the National Lottery 25 years anniversary commercial in full medieval armour, as a knight templar in 'Expedition Unknown' and a Dumnonian soldier in upcoming series 'The Winter King'
From 2004 - 2017 Gavin was the lead singer of progressive rock band 'The Mighty Bard' and co-wrote and sang on their debut album, 'Blue God and Other Stories'.
