Marty Ball(III)
- Actor
Marty Ball, a traditional jazz vocalist and actor, was bitten by the
entertainment bug as a youth. He grew up in a household that encouraged
creativity, doing what you love, and not having the fear to do it.
Since then he's been immersed in "show-biz" for the sheer love and fun
of it.
Marty spent half his life in California, where he was born and the other half in Colorado. While in Colorado he fostered his growth and confidence as a singer. Particularly, traditional jazz standards a-la Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, and the like. His love and respect for this music is only matched by his passion for performing it.
While living in Colorado Marty obtained a B.A. in English Communications from Adams State College. He is proficient with voice-over work, journalism, as well as on-air radio and television work.
He enjoys: camping, hiking, the ocean, wearing a suit, wearing a Tux (there's a difference pal), gin joints, steakhouses, old Cadillacs, golf, slow dancin', whiskey bars, trap shooting, cooking, vintage vinyl, mid-century architecture, autumn, a well-made Old Fashioned with rye, talking, rabble-rousing, staying busy, relaxing, shindiggin', the southwest, the ladies, chivalry, an open mind, good film, his family*, as well as a host of other things.
