Taya Ayotte Bourns

Having professionally trained both in Canada and the US, Taya's skills have allowed her to land lead roles in both The Becoming and as Lily in Euphoria. The opportunity to work with two multiple award winning filmmakers in BJ Verot and Paula Kelly has gained her invaluable experience at such a young age. A busy voiceover artist, Taya has also completed over 40 commercials for multiple brands ranging from the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Children's Dental World, and the 20/20 Eyecare radio campaign.
Mentored for 5 years by Todd Grodnick of Merrill Entertainment in Hollywood and represented by Melanie Hawthorne Toogood of Premiere Talent Management of Vancouver, Taya has been consistently training since 6 years of age. Travelling to take workshops with Michelle Danner and Amy Ruskin in Santa Monica, Disney and Mandalay Entertainment workshops with Adam Stone & Troy Daniel Smith, and learning the Meisner technique by Jamie Rudofsky and Steve Braun, Taya continues to hone her skills for Film and TV. Daily drama and theatre classes at Dakota collegiate work on dance, music, improvisation and comedy.
In November 2017 Taya was hired to produce a Safety Skills voiceover training video for the Government of Manitoba, Taya continues to represent the Government of Manitoba in television commercials and voiceover work for the Safe School campaign and Provincial Steady Growth for Jobs program.
Taya's excellent inner ear gives her the ability to hear an accent and instantly repeat the tone to become that character. Alex Goulding of Great Britain cast Taya in Lost Little Lily an animation voiceover with a British accent. She is also multi-sport student athlete having played hockey, fastball and track & field. Taya played Club Volleyball for the University of Manitoba Jr. Bisons for two seasons and is currently playing for the Insanity Volleyball Club training in the Libero position.
Taya loves to travel, play sports, listen to music and laugh with her friends and she is looking forward to working on the next big role.
