Jay Lindsay(I)
- Actor
- Additional Crew
Seeing the world upon watching Harrison Ford in Star Wars: A New Hope,
Jay Lindsay knew he wanted to be an actor. The draw started with the
stage at nine years old, in small community productions. With a father
in sales, he was often moved around the East Coast, which was perfect
for a child that loved the spirit of adventure and travel. As he
entered high school and embraced a deeper love of his craft, he chose
to explore a greater diversity in his roles. After high school he found
himself working for Walt Disney World and having the time of his life.
He returned to Morgantown, West Virginia, and began work on his
Bachelor of Arts in Theater. The degree would prove to be a four year
journey of self-discovery as he continued to hone his art form. All
this time he was gearing for one destination, one which would lead him
to a place he had loved before ever laying eyes on: Hollywood. A place
that had built up the dreams of a young boy and ensured him that
anything could be possible. He arrived in Los Angeles, feeling home at
last. He has starred in a variety of shorts, indi films, and web-series and completed the two-year Meisner training program at Ruskin's School of Acting. In 2019 Jay would enter the Army National Guard, a tradition long held by many members of his family. He continues to work full time as an actor while bringing his unique perspective gained from his time as a veteran in our nation's armed forces.
