Donte "Diesel" Williams is a Producer, Director, Cinematographer and Editor from Chicago's West Side. He is known mostly for his work as the Director and Executive Producer of the award-winning comedy, Not Another Black Movie and Not Another Zombie Movie and as Co-Director of the short thriller "3825 Forgiveness". In addition, he has worked as an award-winning TV News Photojournalist for over two decades and also provided voice-overs for various projects, including narration for NBC Chicago's 2021 Gracie Award-Winning documentary, Race in Chicago.
An alumnus of Illinois State University, Donte Diesel takes a page from famed Director Robert Rodriguez's book and often shoots and directs. He credits filmmakers such as Rodriguez, John Hughes, Robert Townsend, Spike Lee, and Martin Scorsese as being some of his cinematic influences.
Donte Diesel has often teamed up with talented comedic writer/producer/actor Jay Davis to produce several hilarious projects including Not Another Black Movie, Not Another Zombie Movie and their Reckless Enlightenment sketch comedy series.
Donte Diesel continues to produce and direct films, music videos and a variety of other projects.
