Mariya Kapustinskaya is a Russian theater and film actress.
From an early age Mariya was involved in music. Then she began to try herself on stage - from the age of 11 she played in the musical theater "Rally". In 2007 she graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theatrical Arts (SPbGATI), acting workshop of Yuri Krasovsky.
Her first recognition from the audience, Kapustinskaya received at a very young age, playing the role of Masha in the popular TV series 'OBZH', and then Veronika Samoylova in the youth serial sitcom Starsheklassniki (2006). She got her first major role in the 2011 TV-series Vstrechnoe techenie (2011), in which she played senior police lieutenant Oksana Zatsepina. The work in the projects Khvost (2012), Test na beremennost (2015), Gruz (2012), Shaman (2022) became noticeable. In 2015, she starred in the crime detective Nevskiy (2016) (Yulia). The actress also got a key role in the multi-part criminal action movie Gorod osobogo naznacheniya (2015) (psychologist Masha Chernova).
