Anna is a New York City based actress/singer/dancer/translator/educator. Born in Yekaterinburg, Russia (aka Sverdlovsk, USSR), she moved to Brooklyn, NY two months before turning 11.
Having graduated from LaGuardia "Fame" school's Vocal department, she obtained a conservatory BM degree in Classical Voice with a minor in French, in addition to which she has a double major BA in English Literature and Italian with a minor in Theatre from Hunter College. Anna also holds a Master's Degree in Russian Translation from Columbia University and an AAS Culinary Arts degree from KBCC.
Her performance experience includes concerts at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, Off-Broadway shows, and many short and feature films that have been screened at various film festivals worldwide and have received numerous awards. One of her short films, Woody Pax, is currently up on Amazon Prime Video.
Just like her hometown, which sits in the Ural Mountains that divide the two continents of Europe and Asia, Anna combines her experiences of growing up in both, the old and new worlds. She brings knowledge of the traditional, having roots in Russian nobility, with experience of the very current, having spent her adolescent years in NYC.
When not performing, Anna enjoys working as a translator and an educator across various performing arts platforms and age groups, both privately and through group lessons. And, of course, she is always finding new ways to better her skills and sharing those experiences with her younger sister, Anastasia Bredikhina, a fellow performer.
