Thor Klein is a writer/director from Germany. He studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). His debut film "Lost Place" was the first German mystery thriller in 3D and Dolby Atmos. "Adventures of a Mathematician", his second film, was a German-Polish-British co-production and sold to more than 20 territories, including France and USA. He is the winner of the American Breakthrough Filmmaker Challenge and shot a portrait about the famous mathematician Martin Hairer for the Breakthrough Prize 2021. Thor is in post-production of his 3rd feature film "Leonora in the Morning Light" about surrealist painter Leonora Carrington. A German-Mexican-British-Romanian co-production.
