Born in Mexico City of Cuban parents, from an early age had interest in arts specially in paint at the age of 6 at the Fine Arts institute in Puerto Rico learned the theory of color. Studied At Anahuac University Communication Science, with TV production specialty. Professional Activity: Since 1990 I have been working y video production and post production of advertising corporate video TV programs and feature films both documentary and fiction, developing new workflows. From 1994 to 2010 I beta tested software and hardware for NewTek. In 1994 I founded Marketing y Comunicación this company provides production and post production services of the highest quality in Mexico City. In 1998 I started the service od DVD authoring. In 1999 Started live video streaming and encoding for internet video. Transfered and Restored several feature films in HD. 2013 Transfer and restoration of 22 feature films of Vicente Fernández some titles: Por tu maldito amor, El Coyote y la Bronca. Also cult films like Noches de Cabaret y Bellas de Noche, among other titles from Cinemarts. Installed a powerful workstation for Da Vinci Revival to clean and restore any digital content with the best quality up to 4k. Authoring, BluRay and DVD master for a collection of short films Narrativa Breve 01 and 02 from IMCINE, in HD, 5.1 and stereo. 2014 to date transfer and restoration of more than 200 feature films including nitrate and safety film both in 2k and 4k. 2015 Executive producer and colorist of the independent feature film El Fuego Inolvidable distributed in Cinemex theathers September 2015. Transfer of historic 35mm films for Filmoteca de la UNAM. Several DCPs for ads and documentaries. 2016 2k film transfer and restoration of feature films for TV Azteca. 2017 Created a workflow for film transfer and restoration in 2k that allow us to finish 2 titles per week with up to 95% quality in 2k. Started to scan and deliver in 4k. 2018 Scanned and delivered more than 52 titles in 4k. 2019 Scanning Nitrate films in 4k.
