Mariea Luisa Macavei

As a film and theatre actor Mariea spent most of 2019 on stage performing in three plays, Bad Jews by Joshua Harmon (Daphna), Unnecessary Farce by Paul Slade Smith (Karen), and Last of the Red Hot Lovers by Neil Simon (Elaine). In 2022 she performed on screen in Carrie and Jess Save the Universe! (Natasha Espionage) and on stage in Another Antigone by A.R. Gurney (Diana). After backpacking Europe in 2017, visiting seven countries in six weeks, Mariea started a daily yoga practice and a year later signed up to become a certified yoga teacher. When she's not on screen or on stage you can find her learning new pranayama and kundalini practices, planning trips, writing, drawing, reading, recording meditative abstract videos, and exploring nature.
