Helen Produced 2022 Logie Winner feature documentary Incarceration Nation for NITV which was also a 2021 Walkley finalist released on NITV August 2021. It has been official selection for 2021 Sydney Film Festival & nominated for the DAF documentary award and Human Rights & Arts Film festival. Produced with assistance by Screen Queensland, Screen Australia, The Post Lounge and Documentary Australia.
Since B3L began in 2005 Helen has produced or production managed over 70 hours of broadcast television for NITV, ABC, ABC3 and even Sesame Street.
Also in 2021 with Bacon Factory Films Helen co-write/directed/produced 2021 Promax ANZ Awards GOLD for Best Song Composition Tjitji Lullaby for ABC Kids.
In 2019 Helen wrote and produced My Family Matter Ipswich Documentary for NITV.
2018 WIK VS QUEENSLAND an award winning feature documentary commissioned by NITV, had its World Premiere at Sydney Film Festival 2018, broadcast on SBS and NITV. It also screened at HRAFF, ImagineNative and Available Light FF. It is a Bacon Factory Films, Bent3Land Production and Freshwater Pictures Production, developed and produced with assistance of NITV and Screen Queensland and Principal Investor Screen Australia.
Helen Produced 2016 Multi-Award winning short film WELCOME TO COUNTRY, funded by Screen Queensland, with festival credits including Adelaide Film Festival, St Kilda Film Festival -nominee Best Achievement in Indigenous Filming, West End Film Festival - Indigenous Filmmaking Award, Canberra Short Film Festival - Best Indigenous Film Award and Best Film at 2018 Mendocino Film Festival Northern California.
Helen is a sessional Lecturer at Griffith Film School Southbank.
