Michael James Oram was born in Crawley, West Sussex, to Amanda (Smith), and Michael Oram Sr. Michael studied theatre studies at St Wilfred's in West Sussex.
After completing his studies Michael landed his first role in RH11 which was being filmed in his hometown of Crawley. Michael played the supporting role Danny Jones which lead to him starring in the sequel Little District. Little District premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2012 and was sold to a Pinewood company.
Michael has landed roles in short film Crossed Paths and played the main antagonist in online series No I.D which was written and directed by Emile Thompson.
Michael landed a role in Callum Andrew Johnston's The Forbidden Note, playing the flamboyant supporting role, Jonjo.
