American Actor, Preston Ward, was born on April 12th, 1986, in Santa Cruz, CA. After graduating in 2009 from Long Beach State University, focusing on film acting, social justice theatre and communication studies, Preston moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and film, full-time.
Preston's first feature film experience was playing a Jehovah's Witness on set of "Confessions Of A Teenage Jesus Jerk," directed by the Golden Globe Nominated and legendary actor Eric Stoltz.
Since then, Preston has gone on to play comedic roles in television series "Shapetown USA" and "Tiny Laughs," and more dramatic roles in independent films such as "Frenchman's Flat," in which Preston portrays 'Sargeant Walker', a World War II Soldier, and "Magic Hour," a dark comedy where he plays 'Michael,' a demented killer during the apocalypse.
Most recently, Preston completed shooting a Lifetime Network Thriller called "Help Wanted," in a lead supporting role as 'James Malloy,' a young real-estate agent who experiences a mental breakdown due to PTSD. The film was directed by two-time Juno Award Nominee, Peter Foldy.
Preston's next project will be a Hallmark Movie called "Looking For Dr. Love," where Preston will play 'Bill,' a young Gas Company VP and ex-husband of the female lead, Jenny. This film will also be directed by Peter Foldy.
Preston has trained at Harvey Lembeck Comedy Workshop under both Helaine and Michael Lembeck, daughter and son of the legendary film comedian Harvey Lembeck. Preston has also attended years of Master Classes with coaches Shari Shaw, Max Decker and Peter Holden. He has also completed a Soap Intensive with legendary casting director Mark Teschner of General Hospital.
