Erika Lynn known as the artist "Blu Ray" was born on May 8, 1989 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is the great niece of American comedian, actor, juggler, and writer William Claude Dukenfield (January 29, 1880 - December 25, 1946), better known as W. C. Fields. Her father Mike Kay, was the backup drummer for the classic hit band "Genesis," featuring lead singer Phil Collins. She graduated from Abington Senior High School in 2007, and continued her education with some college, beauty, & cinema schools. Blu Ray has been a part of Philly's Nightlife and Entertainment Industry for the past 16 years. She started in the industry at 16 years old working her way up from a server, bartender, & manager, to now owning her own brand, "Haus of Blu LLC." She is a licensed master artist, specifically Special Effects Hair, & Makeup/ Prosthetics for film, T.V, & music videos creating visuals, and producing. Some of Blu Rays known work you may have seen her in, or do the makeup for includes: 2009 issue of Penthouse Magazine, Award-winning movie "Wolf of Wall Street", "Sucka 4 Luv" as the character Mya, Blockbuster & Red box film "Deer Crossing" as Bunny, Food Networks "Mystery Diners," the hit T.V show "Jerseylicious," & newest film "Oranges" set for release in 2022.
