Producer, writer, actress and activist, Dellany Peace was born in
Asheville, North Carolina. She was raised in Jamestown, North Carolina
and ever since she could remember, she knew what she was meant to be
when she grew up. An artist, an innovator, an actress. Starting at age
3, Dellany acted,danced and sang her way thru plays, recitals,
community theatre and indie film projects all the way up until she
auditioned and then was accepted into BOTH programs (studio and
integrated) of the prestigious conservatory American Musical Dramatic
Academy in New York City. NYC was where she finally felt like she
belonged. Right out of training Dellany booked a Young Adult Theatre
contract with Theatreworks USA and toured nationally for 9 months. The
show opened on Broadway before taking it on the road. She then went on
to entertain at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio where her show was voted
"Best Show" by The Discovery Channel. After 9/11, Dellany moved back to
North Carolina briefly and worked on independent projects such as "The
Otherside" and the award winning "Bailey". She also was featured in and
did stand-in work for Molly Shannon in Will Ferrell's "Talledega
Nights". Dellany then decided to move to the West Coast and has since
worked on stage, television, music videos and film. She most recently
has become co-creator/producer/star of the all new comedic web-series
"2 Hopeful Spinsters, set to premiere 2013!
