Lisner's love of theatre began at the age of eight while studying speech at the Trinity College of London with Ms Joyce Foreman. Lisner continued with Foreman for seven years. In that time, she appeared in numerous plays. This included J M Barrie's Peter Pan, playing the role of Tinker bell.
Lisner has had extensive training as an actor. It continued in Sydney at The Ensemble Theatre under the direction of the late Broadway legend Hayes Gordon .In that time Lisner worked with Hayes, Lorrane Desmond, Zika Nester and Daniel James just to name a few. In recent years Lisner has been studying at the Melbourne Actors Lab with Peter Kalos. Lisner works with Anna Mc Crossin- Owen (MTC) for her dialect training. When Lisner wanted to learn gun safety and handling skills she went to veteran armourer John Fox. Lisner received a certificate of competency which is rarely given by Fox.
As a platinum MEAA member and serving on the board of WIFT Vic (Women in Films and TV) for 2 years Lisner is known for advocating change. Qualities Naomi values are gender equity, ageism and diversity.

Hannah is intellectually challenged and lives with her Mother Miriam a traditional Jew. Miriam is terminally ill and worries what will become of Hannah . It's a story of love, hope, fear, prejudice and traditions.
