The events of 9/11 propelled Sharieff into two tours of duty in Iraq, an experience that would shape his future endeavors.
Upon his honorable discharge from the military, Sharieff relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his acting dreams in earnest. However, the lingering effects of war trauma manifested as PTSD, prompting his admission to a combat stress program at the VA hospital. Through resilience and dedication, Sharieff completed the program and embarked on a journey towards healing and personal growth.
Sharieff's commitment to his craft led him to prestigious institutions such as The American Academy of Arts and the Lee Strasberg Institute, where he honed his skills as an actor. Currently, he continues his artistic education at the esteemed Howard Fine studio, further refining his craft.
