Mattia Epifani was born in Lecce in 1985. Since 2010 has been working as director. In 2011 Epifani directed the documentary Rockman, awarded in several festivals. In 2015 Epifani directed the documentary The Successor, was selected for several major international festivals such as: IDFA; Hot Docs; Slamdance FF, Göteborg FF. The Successor was awarded with Cipputi award at the 33 Turin Film Festival. In 2020 directed the short God dress you, in international competition of Clermont-Ferrand International Short film Festival.
