Aaron Dickson(I)

Aaron Dickson was born in 1980 and raised on the north east coast of Ireland. Attending a local grammar school, he originally planned to become an astronomer. However, after spending some years in the US, he developed a keen eye for photography. This led to forays into photo journalism and film making, where he eventually saw directing as his way forward. Moving to New Zealand, Aaron attended the NZ Film & Television School where he graduated top of his class in 2009. After a few years working in the film industry in NZ, Aaron returned to Ireland and attained his MFA degree in Photography. Aaron continues to produce thought provoking work as a social documentary photographer and visual artist.
