Frederik Füssel is a cinematographer, writer, director and producer from Austria.
He started working in 1992 at ABC TV Austria. He worked in over 80 countries for cinema and TV.
He did his Master of Art in Film and TV productions at the Donau University in Krems with distinction.
In 2001 he founded the company FMproductions with which he produced over 150 episodes of the successful TV show "Volume" from 2001-2007, where he had famous guests like Metallica, Nickelback, The Hives and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In 2008 he founded the Film studios in Baden/Vienna with 4 sound stages with the biggest green screen in Austria and post-production facilities.
He won the award for best Documentary for "Singing for living" at Turin Film Festival in Italy and got nominated for best cinematography for "Dead River" at the Namibian Film festival in Windhoek. Since 2008 he is also teaching Cinematography and Film Production at the Film School in Baden Austria. He is specialist for extreme territories as working in the Favelas in Rio de Janeiro, Townships in South Africa and Namibia, Himalayas in Kashmir and also for wild animals like Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards and poisoned Snakes.
Since 2008 he produces feature films like "Devil Devil Devil", "Hopped up, "White Screech" and "The Perfect Pick up".
